Summary:
We are looking to strengthen our team and hire an IT Project Manager. You will be joining a diverse team, reporting directly to Senior Vice President, Global Integrated Planning and you will be based in Copenhagen.
What can you expect in as an IT Project Manager at Scandinavian Tobacco Group?
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedule, budget, and monitoring expenditures
- Develop and maintain all required project management artifacts following guidelines
- Manage scope, resources, timelines, costs/budget, quality, communication, and procurements to meet the goals of the project
- Work closely with the team conducting alternative analysis and writing documentation
- Work with vendors to manage deliverables to ensure that all the milestones are met
- Ensure that project plans and schedules are established and maintained, ensuring that deliverables are completed timely and accurately
- Establish project governance, conducting formal presentations, coordinating with all project stakeholders, and ensuring that appropriate project controls are instituted
- Work with personnel within various teams that are responsible for the systems to develop necessary project management, change management, risk management, rollout, and training plans
- Integrate project into the existing governance processes for the overall SAP implementation to ensure alignment of priorities and minimal disruption to ongoing operations and other required deliverables
- Work with cross-functional business teams to develop stakeholder communication plans to train and/or reach program participants
- Work with the technical team to ensure technical readiness during testing and implementation
- Develop and maintain all required project documentation
- This position will be responsible for working with senior-level business executives, IT personnel, business program resources, and vendor staff to execute project requirements and manage stakeholder expectations
Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role):
- 7+ IT Project Management experience, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Capable of leading effective project meetings that are tailored to the audience
- Ability to create simple to complex project plans, timelines, and work breakdown structures using project management tools. This is a hand-on role. Must be able to get into the details and communicate clearly with all stakeholders.
- Proficiency in different project management methodologies
- Strategic planning skills with good understanding of roadmap development
- Proven experience with working collaboratively with business/program partners and stakeholders on all levels
- Strong analytical skills
- Understanding of the fundamentals of data conversion activities
- Experience in facilitating release planning
