The position In Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) we are planning to expand our production facilities in Hillerød, to meet the future need of our expanding product pipeline. To assist in the project and to be a part of the operations after project completion we are looking for a Health & Safety Partner. You will work with EHS engineering activities on a highly critical project & production with high strategic impact for Novo Nordisk’s future business. This includes: Drive goals related to EHS and advise our stakeholders. Analyse data, communicate, and act as the managers wingman within your field. Work with our engineering partners to ensure that the new design we make of our new facility ensures safety during Operation & Maintenance. Coordinating different EHS task with various stakeholders, including EHS professionals. This project will give you the scope to be involved in a new, high-profile green field project where you will have the opportunity to be involved in shaping a new department. To ensure success in your work, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels such as Management, Project managers, other EHS partners and colleagues in production. You will be part of the project organisation and you will report to the Project Engineering manager, but your daily work will include a high degree of independent tasks in an organisation with very high complexity. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have: An academic background or experience from the health and safety industry or other industries/organisations where processes and activities are centred around high standards of health and safety for employees and patients. The ability to navigate a complex process landscape. Excellent stakeholder and project management skills with good experience in planning, presenting data, and supporting and motivate key stakeholders on different level of seniority. Knowledge in processes within the pharma industry and you feel comfortable with new technologies. Knowledge about Danish Health & Safety legislation. Full professional proficiency in English. As a person you have a fundamental desire to make a difference within health and safety. You have a high personal drive, works independently and can pursue key focus areas. You aim to create big networks across the organisation and are strong in building relationships. About the department Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Denmark is in Gentofte, Hillerød and Kalundborg. This is where the active ingredients, going into all our life-saving biotech products, are made by app. 500 committed colleagues. We manufacture through complex chemical and biotechnological processes requiring a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees and including cultivation, recovery, purification, and freeze-drying. We are producing at full speed in existing facilities, while building and ramping up new state of the art additions to keep up with demand and new Novo Nordisk products. We bring value to patients by delivering the purest possible high-quality API made in compliance with GMP. We drive change by always looking for improvements within our processes, but also in the way we work together to make our products reach as many patients as possible.
