If so, apply today and seize the opportunity to join as Vice President of Global Diversity & Inclusion which is anchored in the Talent, Learning and D&I Centre of Excellence (CoE) residing in Global People & Organisation (P&O). The Position As our Vice President of Global Diversity & Inclusion, which will be preferably based in Denmark, you will drive a high level of innovation and change in a global, diverse context to leverage the effect of D&I as a competitive business advantage. You will be part of the Leadership Team within the CoE, where we drive agendas in joint ownership. Moreover, you will be responsible for a team of 4 dedicated colleagues. Your main responsibilities will also include:
  • Developing the NN philosophy further, setting the direction for strategy and standards within D&I
  • Setting the tone from the top, create, and implement plans to promote D&I within Novo Nordisk and providing global, regional, and cross-functional expertise, ensuring, that D&I is embedded in behaviours and practices across the organisation
  • Building and maintaining strong cross-functional relations with key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Promoting and developing activities/programmes to enhance employee understanding on inclusion issues in close collaboration with other CoEs, HRBPs, and local P&O
  • Ensuring improvements/updates of processes/ policies/activities with due attention to stakeholder needs
  • Furthermore, you will participate in maintaining effective tools, surveys, and models used in embedding D&I solutions into the business and ensure that data and consistent measurement is leveraged to drive behaviour and culture change. This position will collaborate with and influence leaders and teams across the entire organization to enable an environment that drives performance in the marketplace through a focus on Diversity, Culture, and Engagement. Qualifications You hold a Master of Science degree in a relevant field and have deep expertise and knowledge of D&I practice as well as facilitation, and possess solid leadership experience. You have been working on a global scale and have experience in more than one business unit (i.e. HQ, Region, BA, affiliate). To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
  • Minimum of 10 years work experience
  • 5+ year demonstrated leadership capability
  • Significant knowledge and understanding of external requirements and trends within D&I as well as business challenges
  • Demonstrated experience in leading strategic dialogues and business critical initiatives and including embedding D&I into key HR processes
  • Significant experience with working with cross-functional senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional strategic initiatives in a multinational environment
  • Strong communication and presentation capabilities to work with senior leadership on execution of D&I strategies
  • Excellent ability and interpersonal skills to drive change with strong leadership capabilities
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English

You have a collaborative leadership style, hold strong communication skills as well as excellent abilities and interpersonal skills to drive change. About the Department The Department of Diversity and Inclusion is part of our Talent, Learning and D&I CoE residing in Global P&O in Novo Nordisk. You will join and head up the Diversity & Inclusion team which consists of 4 dedicated colleagues with base in Denmark. Our main goal is to make sure, that D&I is embedded in everything we do.
