The position Fill & Finish is a recently established division within Novo Nordisk, responsible for overseeing the largest global investment portfolio within the organisation.
As a Financial Compliance Lead, your primary responsibilities are to ensure financial compliance, tax compliance and legal & ethical compliance. You will drive and lead several cross-functional projects aimed at managing, and mitigating financial risks, and cross boarder arrangements in close collaboration with Investment Managers, Project Managers, Procurement, Corporate Tax and Treasury. Other responsibilities are:
  • Developing financial guidelines and compliance frameworks aligned to Novo Nordisk’s finance and compliance strategy
  • Preparing accounting analysis and compliance recommendations to Fill & Finish management and other key stakeholders
  • Designing and maintaining SOX controls and other process controls
  • Continuously improving the control environment within Fill & Finish
  • Collaborating with Novo Nordisk’s Business Ethics team, to ensure business ethics principles are followed
  • Facilitating sessions and audits with Novo Nordisk’s internal and external auditors
  • As a crucial team member, you are expected to proactively foster building and maintaining relationships across the organization and within the Novo Nordisk finance community. Qualifications
    To be successful in this role, you have experience in finance, accounting or auditing in a global organization, and have the following qualifications:
  • MSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar
  • At least 4-6 years of experience working as an auditor or as a financial consultant in a global organization
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS and SOX compliance
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • On a personal level, you are trustworthy, have a high level of integrity and are dedicated to business partnering and value creation for Fill & Finish’s stakeholders. We expect you to be detail-oriented, while being able to cut through complexity and convey clear and concise recommendations to Fill & Finish’s stakeholders. About the department
    Fill & Finish is a newly established division within Novo Nordisk overseeing the largest investment portfolio within Novo Nordisk. The multibillion portfolio is being governed via the central ‘Programme Office’, in which the Fill & Finish Finance department is anchored. Programme Office is an international and high-performing organization, consisting of more than 100 people from approx. 10 countries, and has a global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approximately 25,000 of Novo Nordisk’s employees. You will become part of a dynamic and energetic finance team responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting and recommendations to Fill & Finish’s stakeholders.
