The position As department LEAN Partner, you will act as a wingman to the Director regarding deployment of the strategy and driving the LEAN initiatives needed to ensure our processes are stable and that we deliver as agreed. You will have a key role in the department management team driving continuous improvement through daily shop floor interaction with employees and leaders in the department. Your day will consist of: Hands-on execution of Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Systematic Problem Solving (A3); Implementing and maintaining visual management and production systems.
Driving and supporting the performance management and policy deployment (Hoshin Kanri) processes in the department and ensuring alignment with the Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas goals and ambitions.
Identifying focus areas for process improvements in your department linking it to the BRD VSM and driving and supporting execution at department level.
Facilitating and sharing best practices across CVP area, BRD and Product Supply (PS), through our LEAN Partner Network and stakeholder relations.
You will be a main driver of ensuring a culture where LEAN, is the standard way of operating, and pursue elimination of waste to improve our performance and deliverables. Furthermore, embodying and catalysing a culture of scientific thinking, continuous improvement, and LEAN Leadership behaviours. Qualifications
Your experiences include: You hold an academic degree with a relevant subject matter (engineering, chemistry, pharmacy, business managerment or project management).
Proven experience in driving process improvements in production areas within the pharma industry or other highly regulated industries.
A LEAN toolbox preferable supplemented by a NN 2 STAR/green belt or equivalent license within LEAN.
Experience working on the shopfloor, where you have exhibited leadership insights and sparring.
Experience in teaching LEAN Principles, Systems and tools and LEAN Leadership Behaviours and bringing practical experience in analysing data and trends is a plus.
Engaging and proactively advising stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

Our department is responsible for the aseptic production on BRD filling line 1 in Gentofte. The aseptic production VP area is part of the BRD Finished Products Gentofte and Vaarloese CVP area that is the production site situated close to Copenhagen. Here we are app. 620 colleagues who take responsibility for transforming Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients into the finished product that patients can use all over the world. We are producing at full speed on existing lines while building and ramping up new state of the art facilities. Our complex processes require a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees and include formulation, filling, freeze-drying, product inspection, assembly and pack. We bring value to patients by delivering high-quality Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) compliant products in a timely and cost-efficient manner. We drive change by working actively with LEAN and always looking for improvements within our processes, but also in the way we work together to make our products reach as many patients as possible.
