As Senior Cultivation Scientist, you will work with many different tasks within development and support of cultivation processes in BRD and will get the upstream responsibility for one or more of these processes.
Your main responsibilities will be focused on: Yield- and process optimisations including down-scaled experiments in our in-house laboratory. Creating and keeping central documents as Master Formulas and In-process Controls updated. Specialized support to the ongoing production. Responsibility for the development package and writing of regulatory documentation. Transfer of processes from development to production facilities. You will have the opportunity to build and maintain a good relation to a wide range of stakeholders including the production departments in BRD, CMOs, QA, R&D, RA, project managers, analytical departments, and project groups. Your experiences include: A Master’s degree related to Life Science or Engineering. A Ph.d. is considered an advantage. 5+ years of experience working with mammalian and/or microbial cell cultivation/ upstream. Experience from a pharmaceutical production/ lab work. Experience in handling regulatory documents, data analysis and process modelling are an advantage. Professional proficiency in English. Manufacturing Development is a part of Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) with a team of over 650 colleagues working together to optimise and develop processes across six global production sites. Our field of work broadly covers the area also known as MSAT (Manufacturing, Science, and Technology). We bring value to our patients by driving innovation for the entire BRD, working with Industry 4.0, new technologies, biotechnology, and developing processes for both existing and future products.
