As the HRIS Specialist at ROCKWOOL Group you will be part of a diverse Group HR team, spanning over disciplines such as Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment & Onboarding, and Employer Branding.
Your new role
The HRIS Specialist in the Group HR team at ROCKWOOL is responsible for initiating and following through activities and projects within the area of responsibility and will actively work to support the overall Group HR Agenda. In this position, you will be the main functional owner of ROCKWOOL’s HRIS, which also include responsibility for HR reporting and master data management within the system. You will be the gate keeper to ensure a harmonized system environment for our business, always keeping efficiency, simplicity and an excellent user experience in mind.
Your key responsibilities include development, optimization, continuous improvements, implementation and follow up on various aspects connected to the Group’s HR Information System Workday. Your day to day work will range from preparation and execution of global launches, communication with internal and external stakeholders, planning and facilitation of training, governance of system, guidelines and supporting tools, and in general ensure, that the HRIS is supporting the organization’s ambitions and needs. In close collaboration with the dedicated HRIS team sitting in IT, you will work to ensure an optimal, efficient and seamless user experience for all users of the Group supported HR systems.
To further support your work, you have a community of locally anchored HRIS Regional Experts which you will be coordinating. The community further supports with areas such as local adoption, implementation, local support and training.
What you’ll need to succeed
The position requires some 5 years of experience from working in similar positions with HR Information Systems, or as an HR systems consultant. Having worked in an international, decentralized and matrix organization would be seen as beneficial, and experience from working with SAAS/cloud-based HR Information systems is a must. In addition, experience from managing and implementing Learning Management Systems or similar would be desirable.
We see you as a genuine ‘can do’-person, with a pragmatic mindset. Further you are an approachable and people focused communicator, with the ability to build sustainable relationships at all levels in the organization, and you also have the ability to navigate in complex business environments. You have a good understanding of HR processes in general, pay strong attention to details and accuracy, and you have the ability to translate local needs and requests into global processes.
High proficiency in English is crucial, this being our corporate language. Travel may be required from time to time.
