The opportunity has arisen for a Manager for the End User Computing (EUC) Subject Matter Expert (SME) Solution Engineers across EMEA. The successful candidate will ensure the day to day functioning, management, motivation, recruitment, scheduling and training of the EUC SME Solutions Engineering team. The candidate should be able to manage a broad ecosystem of resources (both technical and people) to drive customer success as well as financial performance. The EUC SME Solution Engineering Manager must be able to hire, motivate, develop, mentor and retain the highest quality SME Solution Engineers who are capable of developing and delivering VMware's End User Computing initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Manage an EUC Subject Matter Expert (SME) Solution Engineering team including; hiring, compensation plans, performance reviews, team/individual goal setting and professional development
- Partner with EUC SE Managers, PSO and Customer Success across EMEA to support customer pipeline through successful technical validation on customer engagements
- Build domain expertise with the subject matter expert team to share knowledge and best practices across Access, WS1 Unified Management and Horizon
- Work collaboratively with Product Management and Engineering during the development, launch and continuing refinement of VMware End User Computing products
Requirements:
- Significant management experience with proven success building & managing a world-class systems engineering or architect teams
- Experience of managing multi-geography EMEA based teams and demonstrable understanding of cultural differences
- Ideally experience of working for a major End User Computing hardware or software vendor.
- Preferably experience in technology related work as an Enterprise End User Computing Architect, Solutions Engineer or Consultant
- Proven track record of selling services as part of a solution
- Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and possess strong leadership and troubleshooting abilities.
