Chromatography specialist for QC raw materials

Do you love chromatography? And want to solve chromatographic issues, manage and improve a variety of chromatographic method on a lot of different chromatographic platforms on raw material analyses in a highly professional laboratory? In that case you should apply for the new position as Chromatography Specialist in QC Raw Materials.

About the department
Your new department, QC Raw Materials, consists of 80 employees which are located in Hillerød. You will join the Analytical Support team, which is responsible for the chemical control of raw materials and excipients for use within R&D and Product Supply.

We have a broad variety of analyzes on analytical platforms as GC, GC-HS, IC, HPLC, UPLC, titrations, DSC, viscosity, pH/conductivity and others. We co-operate with a variety of functions, including purchase, storage/warehouse, method development and Quality Assurance (QA).

The Position
Your focus will be on chromatographic analyses on platform as GC, GC-HS, HPLC with UV/RI/ELS/PDA detector, UPLC and IC as you come with the broad understanding and experience of chromatographic methods. You will be responsible for several analytical chromatographic methods, platforms and method development for securing that the analytical flow is aligned with our customers’ expectations along with regulatory compliance.

Your daily work will be in close collaboration with chemists and laboratory technicians. An essential part of the work is support to the chemists and laboratory technicians in their daily operations to ensure that the chromatographic analytical performance and equipment live up to the industry standard.

You will among other things become our specialist in chromatographic method development and validation, pharmacopeia monitoring and updates, handling of change requests, deviations and laboratory investigations. A high GMP and compliance mind-set is thus required. In general, you can foresee different project assignments that enable us to work faster and smarter within the department and across the organization.

Qualifications
You hold a master’s degree in chemistry, pharmacy, engineering or another relevant field within the natural sciences. Ideally, you have a background from the pharmaceutical industry and experience within chromatography.

It is required that you have experience in different chromatography techniques (GC, GC-HS, HPLC with UV/RI/ELS/PDA detector, UPLC and IC).

You have knowledge of working with GMP in a laboratory environment and experience using Empower and Chromeleon is an advantage.

On a personal level, you contribute positively to our team and enjoy working with people from different professional backgrounds who are dedicated towards meeting our common goals. You are good at setting direction and eager to see things moving forward in a dynamic environment where projects and processes vary which demands the need for your flexibility. You work well independently, although it also motivates you to cooperate with colleagues and stakeholders across functions and departments.

Lastly, you must have fluency in written and spoken Danish and English.
