The position
As Associate Manager for Metrology & Automation, you will lead a team of 10 dedicated employees - technicians and engineers (with broad professional experience) who deal with the development of robot solutions, projects, validations, and maintenance of process control equipment used for testing of plastic moulded components and springs at three different laboratories in Novo Nordisk and at 13 different sub-suppliers globally.
Your main tasks will be to:
• Set strategic directions for the team, manage with a growth mindset and and raising the professional level of the team
• Thrive with ongoing changes and priorities, while cooperate with stakeholders in a dynamic environment
• Fuel and support the automation agenda in DMS e.g. through co-bot solutions
• Portfolio management for Process Control Equipment projects world-wide
• Ensure timely deliveries and a high level of compliance and inspection readiness in your team.
You will be part of a highly engaged management team, own a large part of our project portfolio, and play an active role in many different projects. Moreover, you will be involved in New Product Entry as well as technical improvements. Together with your management team, you create a culture that supports continuous improvement, collaboration across, creativity, and independent employees.

Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you:
• Have at least 5 years of management experience.
• A degree within Engineering, Science, or other relevant fields.
• Fluent in Danish and English.
• Experience from the pharmaceutical industry and/or knowledge about ensuring the operation of production control equipment and validation is a plus.
You have a natural interest in technology and are driven by optimizing processes, which is why the LEAN mindset is a natural part of your leadership. You are trustworthy and clear in your communication, and able to realize your decisions.

About the department
You will join Device Metrology, IPC & QC in Hillerød, Denmark. We are approximately 75 highly motivated colleagues, working in 5 teams. We develop and maintain quality control equipment and test methods, and control plastic components used for manufacturing of our medical devices in Novo Nordisk from our internal as well as external production. Through cross-departmental collaboration, we ensure a high focus on quality, robust processes and new ways of operating and we are curious to constantly improve and challenge the status quo.
