The position
As our new data engineer you are a proactive team player that naturally builds relations to colleagues and stakeholders in the organization. You can communicate complex technical matters to a variety of stakeholders with different levels of technical expertise. Finally, you find it easy to evaluate issues and then develop solutions that are both creative and effective for our organization. We are a flexible team and working hybrid will be an option.

Your main responsibilities will include:
• Maintaining and iteratively improve existing data-driven solutions
• Using enterprise tools and other components that make up our data ecosystem.
• Supporting data consumers with building features, data visualizations and generating reports for critical processes

Qualifications

• You hold a relevant Bachelor or Master’s degree, within the field of Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration etc
• You have strong programming skills, preferably in C#, ASP.NET
• You have a deep understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with SQL and databases.
• Great numerical and analytical skills
• Familiar with various cloud services for storage, data ingestion, data transformation and (serverless) application development. We use both AWS and Azure.
• You care about cultural frameworks like Agile, DevOps.
• You are a go-getter with a ‘can do’ attitude and see yourself as a fast learner with a solution and service-oriented mindset.

About the department
The position is part of the Business Support department. Our new Digitalization and Innovation team of data scientists and engineers is dedicated to improving and visualize production data across our production and drive Industry 4.0 solutions from idea to implementation. You will join a growing, diverse and inclusive team that is working with the most awesome projects from our production complex.
