The position
In Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD), we are seeking to expand our production facilities in Hillerød to meet the future needs of our expanding product pipeline. As a result, we are looking to fill two new positions: a junior and a senior commissioning manager. In these roles, you will be responsible for providing technical commissioning guidance to the project team in relation to actual test activities throughout the entire facility. You will also play a critical role in ensuring technical subject matter expert (SME) knowledge for the commissioning activities in relation to the time schedule. The day-to-day activities of these roles include (but are not limited to):

Providing guidance to the work packages regarding commissioning activities

Offering technical oversight and guidance to engineering responsibilities

Confirming that the commissioning documentation packs are in the construction tool/application

Facilitating sufficient overlap in commissioning activities between work packages

As commissioning managers, you will be part of ensuring that our commissioning activities and documentation comply with Good Engineering Practices (GEP) throughout the entire project. Qualifications The ideal candidate for the junior commissioning manager position should have at least 2 years of experience working on commissioning projects. For the senior commissioning manager position, we require a minimum of 5 years of experience working on commissioning projects. On top of that to qualify for this role, you should have:

A degree in mechanical engineering, marine engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with many concurrent tasks

Fluent in spoken and written English

Experience from pharma facilities is an advantage but not a requirement

About the department
Join us at 25L API Capacity Expansion and become a part of one of Novo Nordisk’s most significant expansion projects, embedded in Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD). In BRD, we are building a new API production facility in Hillerød that will employ around 340 colleagues. The highly automated production facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is flexible to accommodate new processes and products. We manufacture through complex chemical and biotechnological processes requiring a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees and including cultivation, recovery, purification and freeze-drying. It will also expand our portfolio of clinical late phase products and increase our capacity to serve more people living with rare disease and serious chronic diseases.
