If yes, then you may be the Moulding Tool Engineer we are looking for to join our department on an exciting journey supporting Novo Nordisk’s ability to deliver prefilled and durable medical pen systems to our patients. The position As Moulding Tool Engineer, you will support the global production of plastic components for different device systems within Novo Nordisk. You will take ownership of several moulds in our global plastic component production network, which requires a high level of collaboration across the organization and with contract manufacturers. Some of your main responsibilities include: Collaborating closely with shopfloor production technicians, manufacturing development engineers, mould makers and Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs), acting as an anchor point for your own tools Ordering, commissioning, and validation of new injection moulding tools Supporting the operation at the CMOs and driving different types of technical projects focusing on continuously improvement of processes and mould performance to ensure that we can manufacture quality components in an effective way Ensuring that sufficient spare-parts are in place and being involved in deviation handling (including systematic problem solving, root-cause investigation and implementing preventive measures) Sharing best practice with your colleagues and working together to improve our standards of working (i.e. working in a LEAN way) We offer an international workplace with great colleagues for you to develop your ideas and knowledge. You should expect up to 20 - 40 international travel days a year. Qualifications To be considered for this position, we imagine you: Hold at least a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or any other similar technical background Have hands-on experience from an engineering position within production of plastic components in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment where you have gained an in-depth knowledge of injection moulding, or a keen interest to learn Are fluent in English, both written and spoken Whether you are a recently graduated student with the curiosity to learn and obtain new skills, or you possess a background as toolmaker, we want to hear from you. About the department Device Manufacturing & Sourcing is located in Hillerød, Denmark, in new buildings and beautiful surroundings. You will join our Global Moulding Engineering department and be working alongside 65 dedicated engineers and professionals. The department is responsible for maintaining our fleet of moulding, decoration and robot equipment, as well as installing new capacity.
