In the role of Advanced Equipment and Method Validation Engineer at Novo Nordisk, you will oversee the verification and testing of drug delivery solutions. This position offers the chance to validate and qualify test equipment, guaranteeing compliance and effective maintenance. Additionally, you will be involved in enhancing testing competencies, optimizing existing test and measurement processes, and ensuring the maintenance of test equipment in a validated state. Your responsibilities will also include developing and validating methods for prototype testing using laboratory equipment, as well as reviewing and approving testability requirements and standards compliance.Additionally, you will:Develop test methods for explorative testing and design verification. Manage test equipment, overseeing maintenance, calibration, and documentation. Author and edit method validation documents, including measurement uncertainty budgets, method design, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and validation documentation. Coordinate test and measurement tasks within complex projects. Share best practices across device-related areas. Perform data analysis using applied statistics. Manage compliant IT systems for e.g. GxP data handling and storage.
Qualifications
For success in this position, we seek a candidate with the following qualifications:A Master’s degree with experience in method validation, equipment qualification, and test and measurement processes, or a Bachelor’s degree combined with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the sector. Extensive experience in authoring and reviewing validation documents. Strong expertise in applied statistics and data analysis. Ability to take ownership of equipment-related activities and ensure compliance. Fluent in spoken and written English. As a person, you possess excellent coordination and communication skills, allowing you to effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders. Your strong problem-solving and analytical skills enable you to tackle complex issues with precision and efficiency. You exhibit the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, adapting seamlessly to various working environments and contributing to collective goals with dedication and expertise.
About the department
The Advanced Method Validation Engineer position is located at site Hillerød in Denmark. Our department is known for its independence, innovation, and proactive initiatives. We work independently to achieve targets agreed upon in Packaging and Verification Development (PVD). We are constantly seeking new process initiatives for development projects and new technologies. We also actively collaborate with external partners to stay competitive and up to date with the latest advancements in our field. We explore and develop scalable and sustainable packaging and delivery solutions. We verify and validate that delivery solutions meet requirements and fulfil the needs of the drug and users. By establishing and qualifying state of the art analytical equipment and test methods in our labs, we plan and execute tests to demonstrate that containers, packaging, and delivery solutions perform as intended.
