The Position As an Injection Moulding Engineer, you will join the team that supports the global production expansion of plastic components for Novo Nordisk different device systems.
You will play a key role in improvement activities to ensure “right-first time” of our moulds in the process going from the tool maker to production site and further getting validated. This position requires a high level of collaboration across the organization and with contract manufactures. It is crucial to maintain good relationships with people inside and outside our organization. We work closely with technicians, manufacturing development engineers, mould makers and contract manufacturing organizations. We can offer you an international workplace with great colleagues to spar with, develop ideas and knowledge. In this role it is expected up to 20 - 40 international travel days a year. The main tasks will be to:
• Become the technical lead in task force work which could involve stakeholders across the organization.
• Be the go-to person for the work-package-owners regarding technical support for expansion activities.
• Be involved in deviation handling which includes systematic problem solving, root-cause investigations and implement preventive measures.
• Drive different types of technical improvement projects for our device platforms with a LEAN mindset.
• Share best practice and work with colleagues on improving our standards of working. Qualifications To be considered for this position, you should have:
• A bachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar field.
• Hands-on experience from an engineering position within production of plastic components in a GMP environment.
• An in-depth knowledge of injection moulding.
• Fluency in English, Danish is nice to have. On a personal level, you are self-driven, have a high-quality mindset and a natural inclination towards taking responsibility. Being proactive, curious by nature and bold enough to challenge status quo is a crucial part of this role. We will welcome a colleague who possesses strong stakeholder management skills, has remarkable communication skills and is excited about working in a dynamic environment, where no day is the same. About the department Device Manufacturing & Development is located in new buildings in beautiful surroundings in Hillerød, Denmark. The department External Supply and Acquisitions consists of around 50 dedicated engineers and professionals. The department is responsible for expansion and maintaining our fleet of moulding, decoration, robot equipment, and installing new capacity.
