The position
As a Global Payer Evidence Director in the Rare Blood Disorders team, you represent a compelling opportunity within the pharmaceutical industry. As a leader in healthcare, Novo Nordisk seeks individuals who are dedicated to influencing and shaping payer evidence strategies on a global scale. As a Global PEG Director, you will: Set the Payer Evidence Generation (PEG) strategy and develop evidence generation plans to support market access for pipeline products and in-line brands in the Rare Blood Disorders TAs. Identify evidence gaps and design PEG projects to mitigate gaps and substantiate the product value proposition. Drive activities such as payer relevant endpoints in clinical trials, real-world evidence programs, patient costed pathways, epidemiology studies, and more. Lead descriptive and statistical analysis from secondary data sources. Manage ad hoc evidence requests from affiliates and support payer dialogues. Lead internal and external training on Payer Evidence Generation. Establish and maintain a network of stakeholders with influence on payer expectations and access needs.
Qualifications
To be our new Global PEG Director, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications: Minimum of six years of experience as PEG management (preferably) and/or HEOR and/or payer value communication, within the pharmaceutical industry or consultancy for the pharmaceutical industry. Proven track record of impactful scientific publications, particularly peer-reviewed publications, is advantageous. University master’s degree in a relevant field such as health economics, outcomes research, epidemiology, or statistics/biostatistics. Fluent in written and spoken English with strong project and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated business acumen, strategic thinking, and a positive, "Can do" approach. About the department
In Novo Nordisk Rare Disease, we are responsible for the development, manufacturing, market access and distribution of high-quality therapeutics for people living with rare diseases like hemophilia or hormonal deficiencies. In Global Rare Disease Access and Pricing, we ensure that there is access to our rare disease products for the people around the world who need it.
The department is an expanding, international, high performing team of dedicated professionals situated in Søborg, Denmark. Optimising market access, we ensure the continued success of the Novo Nordisk Rare Disease Portfolio when we develop and execute strong, evidence-based global access strategies. In close collaboration with key internal stakeholders, Global Rare Disease Access and Pricing establishes these strategies and key support tactics in the areas of pricing, reimbursement, health economics & outcomes research, value communication, and subsequently supports the implementation regionally and locally.
