The Position
The position is a temporary position with a duration of 12 months and requires a high degree of independence and a desire to support and improve the processes in our media production.

About the Department
The department IM2 QC Laboratory is located in Kalundborg and supports several productions. In addition to performing chemical, biochemical and microbiological analysis, we also have our own equipment team and media production. In our media production we produce media for laboratory analysis and production in Product Supply Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (PS API).
We are approx. 130 highly dedicated employees, divided into 6 teams and we are looking for a scientist or engineer for a temporary position of 12 months, in our media production team. The team consist of highly competent and experienced members. In the team we have a production, handling everything from raw materials for formulation, and formulation, to batch release and shipping media to our customers.

The Position

Your role as a Scientist or Engineer will include:
- Professional responsibility for the processes in the media production, including raw materials, formulation, sterilisation and documentation
- Support stakeholders by providing expertise and solutions to secure stabile production with the right quality
- Provide proactive support to the media production, ensuring the daily operations and equipment always perform with highest output in the right quality
- Contribute to ongoing optimization of existing processes and equipment. This also entails being curious about how other teams and departments work, bringing new knowledge to the team, and sharing knowledge and collaborate with stakeholders in other teams and departments.
- Challenge existing processes in a respectful and constructive way, and to be a professional mentor for colleagues in the team and department

Qualifications
You are expected to:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Natural Science or Engineering.
- Have experience with GMP.
- Have experience with sterilisation processes
- Fluent in Danish and English
- Have the ability to coordinate and finding simple solutions with respect to quality, cost, environment and delivery
