Kalundborg
Associate Process Engineer
We are expanding to support the future of Novo Nordisk by establishing a new and ground-breaking biotech facility in Novo Nordisk Kalundborg.
With the construction of this new facility, we will establish additional capacity to produce API for technical use to support the development of Novo Nordisk's future product pipeline. The new plant will also be an internal innovation hub to support the development and maturation of new production technologies.
The project of establishing this new facility is currently in execution phase, and we are in the process of building the organisation that will be responsible for the future operation of the facility. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in the design, construction, commissioning and ultimately operation of a brand-new purification facility that will support future products as well as testing of new production technologies.
This job will require agility and ability to adapt to new and changing projects and situations. This is your chance to work with exciting tasks, supporting the set-up of innovative systems and processes involved in purification of APIs.
The job
As a Process Engineer, you will be joining a team ‘under construction’ so there will be plenty of opportunity to shape the job by making use of the skills and experience you bring. You will be involved in equipment selection, process design, control system implementation, data management and all the other issues that need to be considered when building a new purification facility - all in collaboration with the project team. The position is a great opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the purification process, automation systems and not least hands-on experience with operating the facility.
