Do you have solid experience within operational planning in a production facility? Are you ambitious and eager to develop your career within the pharmaceutical industry? Are you both strategic and a teamplayer across stakeholders? Then you might be Novo Nordisk new Associate Manager for our newly established planner team within IM1, API in Kalundborg, Denmark.
The Position
As an Associate manager for our planning team your primary role will be to ensure an effective production and maintemance execution while heading up a team of experienced production planners with different competencies and senorities. As Associate manager you both set direction and develop teamspirit. You will be responsible for our operational batch and maintenance planning in our muliti porpose facility, where our production directors, associate managers and tactical planners will be your most important stakeholders. Your main task together with the team, is to ensure maximum utilisation of our equipments.
You can look forward to:
• Beeing in charge of the operational planning processes; keeping track on productionplans, stocklevels and maintenance plans.
• Ensuring a stable and effective production execution together with our tactical planners.
• Ensuring maximum output on our bottlenecks.
• Preparation of productions scenarios and presentations to the management group.
• Setting strategic directions and continuous work with process simplifications, standards and systems to develop our planning processes further.
• Leading and coaching of planners.
Our department hold 60 specialised employees, with close collaboration across teams and Associate Managers, including among other IT management, training, planning, warehouse, purchase, finance and our CLean coordinator. Combined we are IM Business Support, and together we support 2 multilines both covering Fermentation, Recovery and Purifaction. All in all we support 6 departments.
You bring strategic perspective and a general overview from shop floor to director level, with an open and proactive leadership approach, making sure your team thrive while cooperating and challenge the way we do business.
Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you have:
• An academic background within engineering, supply chain or something similar.
• Several years of experience within planning from a similar position in the global pharmaceutical industry or from a production unit.
• Preferably experience from working in a GMP regulated industry, such as the pharmaceutical- however we do look forward to receiving applications from different industries as well.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and natural ability to talk to employees at all levels.
We expect you to be fluent in English both written and spoken; Danish language skills on a communicative level or willingness to learn it would be advantageous.
