The position
You can look forward to supporting the project around new equipment, systems and processes for selected steps of the downstream processing. You will be responsible for the design, procurement, installation, and validation of a large-scale bio-pharma production facility. Your responsibility will be within either solid/liquid separation (centrifugation) and/or various filtration technologies and/or dispensing processes. We are looking for a number of people and encourage you to indicate if you have any preference.
You will take an active part in a competent owner organisation and collaborating with colleges from various disciplines and organisations.
After the project is finished, the role will continue into an operational role, in which you will take a significant position in the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient manufacturing organisation.
Qualifications
We are looking for professionals in the field of downstream processing. To be successful in this role, we imagine that you have:
• Knowledge about biotechnology or chemical process technology within large-scale production facilities.
• Minimum a bachelor’s level education in chemistry, pharmaceutical, mechanical process engineering or similar.
• Good understanding of Good manufacturing Practise (GMP).
• It would be an advantageous if you have knowledge and experience of working in an API manufacturing plant or similar operational organisation and/or experience within investment projects in a Life Sciences environment.
• Strong communication skills both in spoken and written English.
