As a Network Architect, you will be working both independently and in close collaboration with our Infrastructure team and global stakeholders. You will play a crucial role in the transformation of our infrastructure to virtualization, process automation, and other initiatives for global setup improvement. We expect you to think on behalf of users at the production lines and how you can add value to and be of service in their daily work.
Your key responsibilities include:• Building global roadmap for relevant technologies and processes
• Assisting in building business cases, ROI analysis as well as in recommending and presenting project proposals at management meetings
• Defining and documenting future architectures, ensuring scalability and driving coordination/project management of global implementation of technical architectures
• Operation and maintenance of Global IT Operations – Production Infrastructure (GITO-PI) Network
• Being responsible for deliveries to customers of Production Infrastructure
• Being responsible for overview and control of life cycle management as well as assist in defining and documenting future architectures and ensure scaleability
• Continuous improvement of Production Infrastructure
• Act as a Technical Lead in the relevant projects as well as represent GITO-PI on a strategic level e.g. in various steering committee, CAB meeting etc.You will work from Kalundborg with flexibility to work from home some of the time. We expect you to visit our different sites in Denmark as this is a part of the role.
What we scout for
For this position, we hope to get a candidate on board who can tick off most of the following requirements:
• Bachelor´s degree or any higher qualification within IT, Engineering or a related field or relevant technology experience with high level technical certifications
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role with related responsibilities and tasks, involving work with network technology. This includes specification, design, implementation, and maintenance of IT solutions in large organizations
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, operations domain area or other IT technologies (e.g. covering networks, servers, platforms, applications, etc.)
• Good understanding of Cisco technology and strong knowledge of Wireless Networks and WLAN controllers
• Fluency in written and spoken EnglishWorking experience with SolarWinds and Agile/SAFe framework are considered as a plus
On a personal level you have great planning, time management and interpersonal skills so you can easily navigate in a cross-cultural environment and communicate effectively with people both inside and outside of the organization, including vendors, consultants, and possibly customers and authorities. In addition, you have ability to quickly absorb new knowledge, and demonstrate a strong interest in developing new competencies.

Our Production IT Infrastructure department is responsible for setting the direction of a global uniform IT infrastructure in Product Supply by delivering compliant operations, effective IT Security controls and best-practice infrastructure standards. Moreover, we look after the definition, implementation, and maintenance of Product Supply IT network infrastructure that supports the manufacturing equipment and applications. PSnet can be seen as a large network that connects and aligns all the Novo Nordisk productions networks in a uniform and regulated approach.
