The PositionAs a Process Engineer, you will be joining a team ‘under construction’ so there will be plenty of opportunity to shape the job by making use of the skills and experience you bring. You can expect a lot of variation in your daily tasks, such as:
  • Be involved in equipment selection, process design, control system implementation, and data management for a new purification facility.

  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure the successful construction and operation of the facility.

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the purification process, automation systems, and hands-on experience with operating the facility.

  • Adapt to new and changing projects and situations, working with agility and flexibility.

  • Support the set-up of innovative systems and processes involved in the purification of APIs.

  • QualificationsThe qualifications we value include having:
  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Marine Engineering (Maskinmester), or a similar field.

  • Experience in pharma production is a plus, but recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.

  • Interest and curiosity in unit operations used in protein purification, control and regulation of processes, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) control, Process Analytical Technologies (PAT), or testing new technologies.

  • Full professional proficiency in English and Danish.

  • Your natural curiosity, perseverance, and openness to trying new things will be vital to your success, as will your ability to coordinate and collaborate efficiently across the organization. You embrace meaningful changes and are not afraid to challenge existing methods, promoting collective improvement. About the departmentThe department is situated within the Manufacturing Development organisation. The Department is responsible for producing technical Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) for development purposes and developing and testing new technologies within API production. The organisation of this new department is currently in the process of being built. It is considered important that the organisation is built with people of diverse professional backgrounds and approaches to solve issues.
