The Position As a DevOps Engineer in Novo Nordisk Global Integrations, the role involves streamlining and enhancing development processes while championing a DevOps approach for core strategic integration platforms. The position leverages Microsoft’s Azure DevOps services to drive and implement key features and improvements, ensuring efficient workflows, scalability, and operational excellence. Responsibilities include providing guidance on cloud services and infrastructure and ensuring that security and compliance standards are met. As part of a cross-organisational unit, there is engagement with teams across the organisation, with a focus on continuous learning and innovation, delivering best-in-class global enterprise integration solutions. Your main responsibilities will include: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate workflows and processes within AWS and Azure DevOps environments, ensuring smooth and efficient integration of systems and applications.
Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, and implement security best practices and new key features
Monitor and continuously optimize the DevOps solutions
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices and incorporate them into our roadmap
Qualifications To be a strong candidate for this position, we envision that you will possess many to most of the following: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer working with Cloud infrastructure within a large enterprise
Experience with Infrastructure as a code like Terraform, CI/CD, Git flow, automation, and configuration management with Azure DevOps
Strong understanding of software development, security, compliance, and scalable operations
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
About the Department As our new DevOps Engineer, you will join the Digital, Data & IT Global Integrations Team, consisting of highly motivated integration architects, DevOps engineers, internal and external developers forming a global, high-performing unit. Together, we share knowledge and collaborate effectively in delivering cutting-edge technology solutions, driving change and creating business value. You will be part of a foundational cross-organizational team that manages the strategic integration platforms, centered around a strong DevOps core, in Novo Nordisk and drives the global integration strategy. Embracing agile practices, you will work within your own agile project team as well as engage with different global project teams in Novo Nordisk.
