The Position As a Robotics Engineer, you will be providing support to our process track from the design phase all the way through implementation and finally continuous improvements after we are in operation. Part of your responsibilities will establish optimized automated solutions with focus on process optimization and standardization across our different process areas. It is key to have a high focus on collaboration, standardization, and quality. Together with a network of project managers, suppliers, and process teams you will take the lead in providing our solution in a simple and efficient way, with respect for our strong requirement for quality and safety in production processes. Your main focus will be on:
  • Becoming a trusted advisor to the project teams, who is confident to present in front of a larger audiences, within the project organisation, externals suppliers and contractors.

  • Driving the process finding and designing our robotics solutions in close collaboration with the Project teams for each track as well with our IT/OT team.

  • Being a profound practitioner of systematic problem-solving, who can facilitate the problem-solving, collect and analyse data independently, and to draw the right conclusions in any given situation.

  • Qualifications The qualifications we value include having:
  • A min. a bachelor's degree in automation, robotics, or a similar field.

  • Strong experience in working with robotics, while having experience working within a matrix organisation is preferred.

  • Good understanding of process flows within IT/Automation, systematic problem-solving skills.

  • Great stakeholder management understanding, ideally from larger companies or complex projects.

  • Fluent levels of verbal and written English.

  • On a personal level, you enjoy close teamwork, can ride a storm off and are a strong motivator of others. You thrive in a multicultural environment that demands independence to make critical decisions. About the department API Project Automation & IT – Manufacturing Expansions is a program organization built in a multi-dimensional matrix structure, that is designed to foster cross organizational and cross-functional collaboration to shape our future. Our goal is to build and operate future-proof, API production facilities, with a focus on establishing strong foundational IT and automation that will enable these facilities to digitally evolve. As a member of our department, you will work closely with colleagues responsible for processes and engineering, as well as various technology partners both internally and externally. The IT and Automation Department is made up diverse team of individuals with a variety of nationalities and professional experiences.
