In Maersk Pricing & Revenue Management set up, you work with industry and revenue management experts to improve the current (and build the future) pricing and revenue management solutions. The focus is today on Dynamic Pricing capabilities where Maersk is leading the pace in the industry.

As a Senior Pricing Analytics Expert you will work on various projects with strong support from fellow team members and directly influence business decisions at one of the largest companies in the world.
Key focus areas include:
• Help identify commercially valuable insight opportunities from statistical treatment of data
• Drive/ participate in Data Science and AI products, extracting value and creating actionable recommendations for the Products
• Interact with business users and internal/external stakeholders and collaboration partners, as necessary
• Spot potential for implementing innovative algorithms and analytical procedures.
• Drive Data Science and AI engagement in pricing projects with Maersk revenue management.
• Help developing pricing, market response and customer differentiated pricing models both in the maritime and inland spaces
• A person with ideally 10+ (minimum 5) years of experience, who has a proven track record of building pricing engines in previous roles.
• Innovative and proven track record in Revenue Management with the ability to work in a highly complex environment.
• An M.Sc. or PhD degree in mathematics, statistics or a related field. Relevant areas of expertise include, but are not limited to; pricing, econometrics, stochastic optimization, high-dimensional and big data, robust statistics, machine learning, simulation methods and operations research.
• Since our analytical problems often take their starting point in large complex data sets, candidates with interest and strong skills in computational methods will be preferred.
• Excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills enabling you to; work well in a team, evangelize towards Pricing Managers, engage successfully with our stakeholders, manage customer expectations and (very importantly) deliver to deadlines.
• High proficiency in both written and oral English is a must.
