We are working towards safer and more reliable time-chartered vessels and you would get to be part of this exciting journey.
You will get to work closely with Chartering, Post Fixture teams and relevant functional experts internally and externally to drive engagement with Ship owners and Technical Managers.
As Post –Fixture Performance Specialist you will be responsible for Pre- and Post-fixture risk assessment and mitigation including overall Performance and Safety related matters on all Maersk time chartered vessels.

• Carry out Pre- Hire risk assessment of vessels
• Follow up with vessel owners on risk identified during Pre- Hire assessment
• Plan vessel and Crane Inspection using external vendors
• Review vessel and Crane inspection reports and follow up with Owners
• Engage with Surveyor on quality of reports and desired outcome
• Review Delivery Survey reports and follow up with Owners
• Review and discuss off hires with the owners for continuous improvement
• Follow up with vessel owners on incidents related to Safety
• Support Post Fixture Operations team on day to day discussion with vessel owners on technical matters
• Analyze available data to assess performance of Ship owners and technical managers
• Manage cross-functional project coordination and development between Chartering and Post fixture
• Visit vessels for investigation of some of the major incidents
• Visit vessels for ad hoc inspections when needed
• Carry out Audits of technical managers and Vessel owners.
The ideal candidate will have Marine Engineering background and onboard experience as Senior Marine Engineer.
It would be an added advantage if you have worked as Technical Superintendent managing Container vessels or a Class/Flag Surveyor.

• Seek continuous improvement and able to maximize utilization of available resources
• Display strategic thinking and interest in tackling challenges with innovative solution
• Comfortable working with large data sets and execute data driven decisions
• Strong Facilitation and communication skills
• Good stakeholder management skills
• Ability to influence without formal authority
• Ability to travel at short notice.
