A.P. Møller – Mærsk (APMM) is looking for an ambitious and energetic Student Assistant to join the TradeLens team.
TradeLens is one of Maersk’s key initiatives to stay at the forefront of the technology change and transformation of the logistics industry.
It is an open and neutral industry platform underpinned by Blockchain technology to transform the way data is exchanged in the industry and is being built in collaboration with IBM.
As a Student Assistant you would become part of an innovate and agile team to support the adoption and technical implementation of this industry initiative.
You will join the product and onboarding team, which is responsible for product development and product testing as well as supporting technical requests of TradeLens customers.
Set in an international environment, the role will offer learning opportunities within the areas of data science, product design, software release testing and data quality testing.
As part of the team, you will be involved in the biweekly sprint testing activities, data analysis and creation of dashboards as well as ad hoc analysis.
Students working at the A.P. Møller – Mærsk companies are invited to join the Students@maersk network. As a member of the community, you will have a unique opportunity to expand your professional and social network, gain additional insight into a large conglomerate, and learn more about APMM as a place to work.
You will help provide smooth operational support to the business.
Responsibilities will include the following:
• Performing data analysis and creating dashboards
• Supporting the product team in analysis, design and review
• Supporting the onboarding team in delivering/fulfilling customer requests
• Participating in product testing of the bi-weekly sprints including
o User acceptance testing
o Scenario creation and
o Reporting
• Ad hoc analyses and tasks
You are finalizing your Bachelor’s degree or at an early stage of your Master’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Business or similar.
You enjoy analytical problem solving and are able to quickly decipher patterns and trends.
You have a particular eye for detail and take pride in delivering quality work on time.
You bring a positive spirit everywhere you go, and do not mind chipping in when others in the team need assistance.
Since we are an international team, fluency in written and spoken English is a must, as is good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of SQL or any BI/data analytics experience is a plus
