Maersk Crewing is responsible for ensuring that over 300 ML Vessels flying various Flags are always manned with competent crew while complying with various International regulations and Company procedures.
Our Crewing function reports into Fleet Operations and is run out of Singapore, Copenhagen and Mumbai while supported by Marine People Teams based in Europe, India and the Philippines.
You will contribute as a high-performing member of the team responsible for carrying out assigned operational duties and tasks in the Crewing function.

Reporting to the Crew Manager for Maersk you will based in Denmark.
You will be responsible for independent management of daily operational responsibilities pertaining to Crew Operations, including:
• Responsible for arranging travel and logistics for officers planned to join Maersk Fleet
• Knowledge and understanding of the Crew Request requirements of Maersk Crewing
• Work with Crew Operators and Senior Crew Operators in the team in ensuring that all Maersk Vessels are manned as per requirement, by ensuring crew changes take place as planned
• Updating of personnel system (MAPS)
• Analyse data/reports
• Ad hoc administrational tasks
• Performance of responsibilities and tasks in line with what constitutes as good performance as per agreed satisfactory performance standards and metrics (e.g. Objectives and Key Performance Indicators or KPIs)
• Process management, assist in ensuring that the agreed SOPs and guidelines are properly documented
• Ensure alignment with other strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate must possess at least 1+ years of experience with administration work, and experience with organising travel/logistics or equivalent is preferred.
You:
• Possess a proactive and positive attitude, enthusiasm and ability to cooperate in an always open and constructive manner
• Have the ability to plan and execute in a structured manner is critical to succeed in the position
• Have the ability to interact in an international setting as well as communicating efficiently in English is critical
• Have good knowledge of Excel, Microsoft
• You are a strong team player, adaptable to change, comfortable with ambiguity, self-motivated and enjoys delivering high performance
