The New Finance and Tax Platform Management Reporting team is responsible for enabling financial data for management reporting and providing financial reporting, analytical and planning tooling capabilities to the Finance organizations. The Platform Subject Matter Expert (SME) for reporting is responsible for clarifying the business requirements and translating them into new features for financial reporting. At this position, you will have access to the core financial systems of Maersk, know how the financial results in published reports are generated and become a master of the financial reporting of a global enterprise. You will be part of the digitalization transformation and get to learn the financial and business processes of all Maersk Ocean and Logistic products which opens up multiple opportunities for your future career.

You will be responsible for collaborate with the S/4HANA process teams and ensure the end-to-end data flow following the desired business logics for reporting. You will also be accountable for assess business needs and assist the business with clarifying the requirements.
Other key tasks:
• Collaborate with the internal and external engineering teams to enable financial data for users
• Review and consolidate the reporting requirements
• Design and model the required reports together with the development team
• Test the solutions and coordinate with the UAT – User Acceptance Test
• Conduct user impact analysis and support change management tasks
• Communicate system releases to the users and stakeholders
• Be the consultant to the platform teams for clarifying data/reporting requirements
• Support the business users during go-live events for reporting
• Ensure processes and business logics are properly documented and accessible by users and stakeholders
• Set up authorization with the GRC (Governance, Risk and Control) team

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in accounting or finance. You enjoy working with teams of colleagues with multi-cultural backgrounds. You have a self-starter attitude that can work with minimal supervision, and you are open minded and able to adapt quickly to changing tasks and priorities.
You:
• Have 3+ years SAP or S/4HANA experience and analytical experience
• SAC – SAP Analytics Cloud or similar reporting visualization experience preferred
• Shipping or logistics and transportation experience preferred
• Intermediate-advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Passionate about getting things done following compliance and as efficiently as possible
• Strong conceptual abilities – able to translate complex issues into ideas and actions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
• Ability to perform well on time-sensitive tasks
• Good planning and structural competencies
• Ability to multi-task without compromising quality
• Project management skills and familiar with the agile working approach
