The specialist is responsible for translating business requirements into new features in the Maersk Warehouse and Distribution, Transportation and/or Transload systems. You will ensure the operating procedures are aligned with any changes with an aim to ensure we meet customer requirements and compliance requirements. The Global Implementation Specialist is expected to shape and lead the implementation projects across the world.

· Lead and drive implementation planning and execution
· Understand and communicate customer business requirements
· Drive standardization and centralization of business and system processes
· Own development of business processes through collaboration with Execution and Tech platform
· Jointly define and own our E2E business processes with Execution team
· Support the development of improvements by leveraging system functionality
· Ensure the operational platform remains up-to-date based on required improvements
· Assess business and customer needs to determine system requirements
· Prioritize, plan, test, and implement new system release and developments
· Support the business during go-live events for new business and/or systems, including hypercare support
· Provide system training and user support to facilities globally
· Ensure processes are properly documented, stored and shared to business unit through the creation of SOPs/IOPs
· Responsible for process governance and adherence to defined standard operating processes
· Develop next generation of SWAT specialists
· Be an active participant within the Global Contract Logistics Community:
· Capture and share knowledge / best practices throughout the organization to support short- and long-term success
· Speak up and share both supportive and critical views in a way that fosters a dynamic and engaging pursuit of continuous improvement

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred,
· 8+ years Transportation and/or Warehousing/Distribution industry experience
· 8+ years transportation and/or Warehousing/Distribution management systems experience required
· Intermediate-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint
· Must be able to travel up to 50% - Global
Soft Skills:
· Self-starter attitude that can work with minimal supervision
· Think strategically to be able to influence others
· Able to adapt quickly to changing tasks and priorities
· Strong conceptual abilities- able to translate complex issues into ideas and actions
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
· Ability to perform well with time-sensitive tasks
· Strong customer service mindset, toward both internal and external customers
Preferred Qualifications: (Nice to Have)
· Experience with Trinium Drayage, Truckmate TMS and/orSCALE WMS management system
· Understanding of project and implementation management methodologies
