The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to help build the data platform that powers our product. As part of the product team, you will have the opportunity to go beyond internal data requests and help build a scalable data-powered product.
The right candidate has experience with the modern data stack, ideally supporting operational or commercial teams. As we are pre-product, your role will be partially customer-facing to help early delivery and incorporate the learnings from this process into product development. We are therefore looking for curious minds that can develop concrete solutions from fragmented information.
Working closely with our Head of Data and the rest of the product team (including CTO), you will craft an end-to-end experience for our customers, from discovery to product launch. We are looking for someone who is highly skilled, self-driven, and used to working in an iterative fast paced environment.
You'll be given a lot of autonomy and trust to help shape and create a valuable product that customers will love.

What you'll be doing
- Define which metrics provide meaningful insights into our customers’ revenue engine
- Develop innovative ways to efficiently map customer data to our internal data model
- Build a scalable modeling engine to turn raw customer data into analytics-ready datasets
- Together with the application engineers, ensure a seamless connection between our data platform and our web application
- Assist with delivery for early customers and use the learnings from this process to guide product development
Who you are
- You are an experienced analytics engineer, data analyst or data engineer with a passion turn raw data into operational business value
- You are comfortable operating cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift or BigQuery
- You have proven experience with dbt and incorporating software engineering best practices into your data workflow
- You can explain technical concepts in clear language to non-technical stakeholders
- You can translate commercial product needs into a blueprint for technical execution
- You thrive in a team environment and enjoy working across the organization
- You are curious and results-driven, and enjoy trialing new technologies or processes to get the job done
We'll be excited if you
- Have experience working with operational and/or commercial teams
- Have worked in a software engineering team before
- Have experience with the business model of B2B SaaS
- Have a deep passion for the modern data space and keep a close eye on its developments
- Have a keen eye for user experience, taking the extra steps to ensure your work contributes to a world class product experience for our customers
