About the Maersk Landside Team
Have you ever wondered about the journey of your IKEA furniture, Samsung TV, or pair of Nike before it entered your home? Being one of the world’s largest logistics companies, it has probably been on one of our ships, planes, trucks or through one of our warehouses at some point.
In essence, we integrate the world. A more integrated world improves life quality and prosperity for all. For more than a century, we have been a leader within shipping logistics. However, we think we can do better and integrate even more – at the benefit of consumers and customers. A few years ago, we decided to double down on delivering an exceptional end-to-end experience for our customers throughout their entire supply chain. This led to an expansion of our landside transportation business.
That’s where your new team comes in. We’re globally responsible for continuing to exponentially grow our transportation over land, which is already yielding revenue around 6bn USD. Overland is via the trucks you see on the road, trains you see on the railway, or barges you see on the river. To do that, we have gathered a fantastic team of people with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
…But we need one more! One who can lift our analytical capabilities in the team, drive analytical initiatives that support our decision-making and help us bring our insight maturity to the next level.

The Landside Growth team is at the forefront of directing initiatives to facilitate growth and transform the logistics industry through i.e., product expansion and digitalization. This is also why we are sure we can find something you will love to work with.
We are growing massively, we have loads of structured and unstructured data, and we need you to help us use the data constructively and forward-looking. If you like to nerd with data for hours, structure the unstructured and identify opportunities and data patterns, then you will love this position.
We do not work with junior or senior tasks, so joining us will throw you into a variety of challenges – big and small. To give you an idea of the job responsibilities, here are a few examples of tasks you may take part in:
- Use number crunching and data modeling to identify new strategic opportunities and grow the business
- Work with our Business Intelligence teams to mature our overall data quality
- Set up accurate, timely and aligned data reports, drive follow-ups and do global communication of your findings

Company language is English. We would expect you to communicate with ease both verbally and written.
A potential candidate might have just started the last year of the bachelor or master’s in business, economics, data engineering, or another relevant study that fills your toolbox with business acumen and analytical skills.
