We are looking for a Student Assistant to join our fantastic People Advisory Team in Copenhagen, Denmark!

Key responsibilities

We are looking to hire a team of two student assistants for our People Advisory team. Your role as a student assistant in People Advisory will be to support and enable the People Advisory team to provide top-notch HR-operations, support and employee experience to our employees and managers in the A. P. Møller Mærsk Headquarter in Copenhagen, and make sure their interaction with HR results in a great experience.

For this you will:

  • Be jointly responsible for handling inbox tasks in Workday, our main HR master data system
  • Handling queries from employees as first point of contact
  • Help manage HR data quality and perform transactions in Workday and other HR systems
  • Prepare and handle documents, i.e., digital archiving of employee documents where legally required, statutory filing of local documents, etc.
  • Assist our People Advisory and Payroll team with operational system updates
  • Updating local payroll forms and general payroll support, etc
  • Administrate our team calendar and events
  • Prepare HR-operational presentations and visuals
  • Assist in planning and executing informational events and campaigns for employees
  • Have the opportunity to drive smaller projects

Who we are looking for?

You are customer-oriented and passionate about employee experience! You have high energy and drive and efficiently manage resolution of every employee query.

As for the profile, we are looking for:

  • Someone with a general interest for HR
  • An engaging colleague who contributes to the team atmosphere
  • Someone fluent in written and verbal English
  • A can-do attitude, where no task is too big or too small
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset with an ability to work independently
  • A detail oriented and analytical colleague
  • Someone who is structured (planning your working hours and reporting back the status of different tasks)
  • Someone who is comfortable about communicating with many different stakeholders at different levels of the organization

We expect the role to be around 15-20 hours per week, ideally split across two or three days, with the ability to be flexible in regard to your school schedule.
