As a core team within global Compliance Programme Operations, we strive to be a best-in-industry business enabler supporting strategic differentiation and safeguarding our license to operate for the long term. It is our mission to enable subject matter expert teams to operationalise compliance requirements and deliver aligned, scalable and business-friendly solutions using tools, technology and analytics to drive effective compliance management.
The student assistant will support with execution and coordination of selected tasks relating to Maersk’s compliance third party management process mainly focusing on integrity risks such as anti-corruption, sanctions and human rights. The student assistant will work directly with the Senior Project Manager in charge of our third party management projects and handle tasks primarily relating to registration and due diligence of third parties.
As this project has a high focus on the handling a large number of third parties, it is a requirement for the ideal candidate to have an eye for detail and a systematic approach to working.
While the focus initially is on registration and due diligence of third parties, the scope may gradually be extended. This is subject to the working student’s interests, development goals and performance.

Who we are looking for
A person who is proactive and eager to learn and works in a meticulous and systematic.
Currently you are pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree (or equivalent), preferably in Finance, Economics, Law, Business, or any related field - combined with work experience through internships or student jobs.
You are a team player with high integrity, personal ethics and professional in your communication who has a desire to grow in a complex organization.
Furthermore you:
- Proficient in English, both spoken and in writing
- Ability to perform detailed work accurately and within agreed deadlines
- Experience in third party compliance management and due diligence processes, e.g. Dow Jones screening
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft365 (amongst others Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
- Team-oriented, with an ability to value a diverse and geographically dispersed team
- Handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently
- Prioritize tasks for timely adherence to deadlines
- Ability to collect and validate data, retain and follow up meticulously.
