We are looking for a Student Assistant who is passionate about building partnerships with suppliers and working in a global environment to support us driving growth for the logistics and services business in Maersk. The best candidate for this role is a proactive, self-starter who brings a can-do attitude and an analytical mindset. This role is anchored in the Asset Strategy & Strategic Partnerships function which works to manage our asset portfolio effectively to enable our growth and make sure we deliver quality customer outcomes regardless of asset ownership. As a Student Assistant you will be part of the Supplier Development team for logistics and services, and you will have the chance to support the growth of our business. Responsibilities
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams in identify opportunities together with category managers and regional procurement teams.
• Assist in the development and implementation of Supplier Development Program with key suppliers within L&S scope.
• Support stakeholder engagement initiatives, including coordinating meetings, preparing materials, and documenting outcomes.
• Translate data into visually compelling business insights to enable data-driven decision making.
• Ad-hoc support in ongoing projects.
What you bring
• A proactive self-starter who can work independently and take initiative on projects.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A team player, who understands the importance of stakeholder management and diversity.
• Previous experience in student jobs or internships with a focus on procurement, asset management or strategy is preferred.
• Currently enrolled in a university master program in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or another relevant field.
• Proficiency in English as your working language.
