Rizzani de Eccher S.p.a. is an Italian based construction group and our branch in Denmark is looking to expand our Scandinavian market in general building and infrastructure projects.
Our current project with the construction of the New Bispebjerg Hospital is moving fast, and we are therefore looking for a Cost Estimation Engineer to help us secure the next projects in the Nordic area.
The project for the New Bispebjerg Hospital represents a key intervention within the vision proposed by the Capital Region of Denmark for the development of healthcare services in the area. The architectural complex develops in an area of around 77.500 sqm, within six pavilions will host a dense and widely articulated functional program. The three key departments will be: Emergency, Operation, and Radiology.
The New Bispebjerg Hospital represents the perfect union of quality and sustainability, in which the intrinsic plus value is constituted by a concerted and shared work between the various professionals involved.
As our new Cost Estimation Engineer you will work from our onsite office at construction site at Bispebjerg Hospital, where you will be able to spare with the team on the current project while looking forward towards new ones.

As our new Cost Estimation Engineer you will work from our onsite office at construction site at Bispebjerg Hospital, where you will be able to spare with the team on the current project while looking forward towards new ones.
Your daily tasks would among other consist of:
- Reading, understanding, and analyzing tender documents and drawings or models, etc.
- Communication the knowledge gained from the task above internally
- Calculate and perform quality take offs of major and essential scopes of work
- Cost estimation of the major and essential scopes of work above in a general manner to provide a solid idea of their magnitude and create a basis for comparison
- Package the various scopes of work into RFQ’s (Requests for Quotes) and send them out to local contractors and sub-contractors to solicit price
- Establish and maintain strong communication, trust, and credibility with local vendors, to secure reliable quotes.
- Analyze received quotes
- Mediating between Employer and Clients regarding costs
- Participating in post tender meetings.
The ideal candidate would possess the following attributes:
- An engineering degree from a reputable university
- At least 10 years’ experience, 5 of which must be from a similar position
- Proficient with computer programs and a working knowledge of new technology
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with co‐workers, clients, contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate user of MS Office (Mainly excel, word, Outlook)
- Speak Danish at a native level
- Ability to speak English at a high level, as our business language is English, and all communication will be in English.
- Experience on a large, scaled construction project will be an advantage
