We are currently looking for a Buyer to support, develop and optimize the Clothing and Gift/Living categories onboard our two passenger vessels sailing between Oslo-Copenhagen and Oslo-Frederikshavn. The position will be based in Copenhagen and is part of the Travel Retail team consisting of 5 employees reporting to Head of Travel Retail.
Your main goal will together with Head of travel Retail be to ensure focus on products with high appeal to the Passengers.

You need to be eager to learn and contribute to our team and business with an energetic and a positive mindset. You obviously also have a great interest in Clothing and Gift/Living categories. Because of the high-paced working environment, you will be in, you should be able to work in a structured and independent manner with high implementation capacity.

Main responsibilities
- Continuously developing the Clothing and Gift/Living categories through tracking sales, developing ABC analysis, and adjusting assortment accordingly
- Securing the right suppliers and defining the go-to-market strategy in collaboration with suppliers
- In cooperation with Head of Travel Retail define the pricing strategy in relation to profit margin.
- Constantly reassess the strategy in collaboration with the Business Leaders onboard
- Marketing/Campaign planning and follow-up
- Deliver content for outhouse communication
We are looking for this:
You need to be eager to learn and contribute to our team and business with an energetic and a positive mindset. You obviously also have a great interest in Clothing and Gift/Living categories. Because of the high-paced working environment, you will be in, you should be able to work in a structured and independent manner with high implementation capacity.
You also have excellent communication skills within Scandinavian languages and English along with:
- Relevant higher education and/or experience. Experience within buyer/category management can compensate for lack of education
- Good knowledge of O365 and its applications
