As a student assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in a legal department with strong focus on providing high quality and commercially integrated advice to our internationally orientated business. Through collaboration with your colleagues, you will be able to develop your professional skills and as part of our department you will obtain great insights into how an international company functions.

Student assistants are an important part of the TotalEnergies team, that is why many of our students spend their internships with us as well as write their thesis about projects and challenges we face. You will be part of our Student Network where ambitious student assistants get together to boost personal and professional development as well as attending social events.

The Legal Department in Denmark consists of 6 lawyers, 2 legal partners and 2 student assistants, of which 6 are based in Esbjerg and 4 are based in Copenhagen. We work closely together and with other local departments as well as international departments to support the business. Our department supports different areas of TotalEnergies’ activities, including Exploration and Production, Renewables and Marketing and Services.

Working hours will be approximately 15-20 weekly, with great flexibility in the planning.

Key Responsibilities
Overall, you will assist with a wide range of tasks including:
  • Contract administration and filing
  • General ad hoc legal and administrative tasks
  • Invoice handling and general inquiries
  • Research of Danish and international regulation
  • Compilation and review of various agreements (i.e. confidentiality agreements, service agreements)
