About the Opportunity
Join Sanofi within the Global Regulatory Operations (GRO) team as Global Performance Manager. In this role you will play a significant role in performance for Global Regulatory Affairs (GRA), including monitoring of key performance indicators and harmonization of Worldwide processes.
Possible locations: The Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark.

In this role you will...
- Ensure full compliance to performance within the Glocal network, participate to deploy Performance Governance and maintain the performance network. Support the Performance Management Head in developing strategy and executing programs to deliver common objectives throughout the GRA organization in partnership with other GRA teams and other Sanofi business partners. Maintain an efficient working relationship with GRA leadership team and internal/external relevant stakeholders
- Set-up communication channels to strengthen experiences sharing across the RA country teams through the Regional Performance meetings. Communicate metrics on multiple processes depending on strategic imperative, e.g. portfolio rationalization / dormant licenses analysis, transverse projects, etc. Maintain current knowledge of the company organization and interconnection of the different departments
- Identify associated risks and ensure compliance and operational efficiency, identify deviations candidates if any. Stay current with regulatory knowledge, procedures and changes, within the Global marketplace and anticipate impact on strategic and performance of GRA. Apply digital and analytics skills to solving existing business problems / pain-points and to creating ways of capturing new business opportunities
- Ensure leveraging issues to top management as needed. Make sure timely communication of related action plans arising from performance efficiency initiatives to the business / process owners, and through GRA senior Management
- Develop and provide a regulatory affairs dashboard, to monitor regulatory activities and performance. Make sure that key business goals are reached: use global data source and standardize definitions and calculations, Support data readiness
- Contribute to (as part of GRO): solution design/enhancements, KPIs/KCIs dashboards, process improvement initiatives, aiming at supporting business strategies and decisions taking. Assure quality and timeliness of clear target/compliance objective KPI setting and tracking plan, and 100% execution of the accountable tracking plan ensuring GRA/Regions/countries are aligned with portfolio activities, targets, and objectives
- Contribute to highlight needs for process improvement. Build strong bridges with internal & external stakeholders. Promote best practices, standards, processes and tools in order to ensure business value and compliance through expertise and continuous process improvement. Provides a clear and complete view on performance connecting insights/assumptions coming from Regions/countries and data
- Be the primary point of contact, to present, and to facilitate meetings across RA Region/country/transversal teams to follow-up and monitor regulatory activities and performance. Contribute, in collaboration with GBUs, Functions, Regions and Countries, to the process of determining the training needs of the GRA teams to support compliance and performance
About you
Qualifications/ Education & work experience
- 7+ years of experience in pharma with at least 2 years with Regional Regulatory responsibilities
- Comprehensive understanding of project management process in the international regulatory environment
- Ability to think strategically and provide regulatory and business oriented continuous improvement
- Capacity to embrace new insights, concepts or trends (including use of cloud technology/digital/mobile platforms, etc.) and translate them into actions generating sustainable new ways of working that impact culture, processes, systems, etc.
- Track record in building networks to obtain cooperation without relying on authority
- Analytical, communication, team spirit, sense or urge and prioritization and innovative thinking skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, planning and analytics skills with willingness to go beyond data
- Oral and written fluency in English
