In DFDS we constantly look for ways to reduce manual work, and to automize working procedures. This role has the purpose of freeing up resources to do more high-value work, either in Sales Operations or elsewhere in our Passenger-related business.
In DFDS you become part of a team of Sales Support specialists, spanning across European borders working in this international award-winning ferry company. You will mainly be working with alignment & optimization projects, seeking to find the best solutions to further improve our operation and approach to stay successful.
Main responsibilities
You will be aligning processes across the sales operation team and optimize the processes around systems, and operations. You will also ensure successful implementation of improvement projects and initiatives across the sales operation function. Furthermore, you will be:

You are hopefully used to work structured and independently with the tasks and having previous experience with project management would be highly beneficial.

- Supporting our travel agents and third-party customers with technical, product and invoicing support
- Conducting robust product set up and testing, as well as troubleshooting product issues.
- Managing our commissions set up and back-office household supporting B2B sales from agents, business sales and groups.
Preferred professional candidate profile
You are hopefully used to work structured and independently with the tasks and having previous experience with project management would be highly beneficial.
- Language skills are a high priority, and it is expected that you can speak and write English to a high level; being bilingual in Dutch or German would be an added benefit!
- A keen eye for detail is important and prefer to act rather than reactt
- Being naturally curious and passionate about finding efficient solutions, to minimise manual work and can challenge the status quo.
