HR Manager with a digital mind!
Are you a passionate HR leader and ready to challenge current HR processes? Would you like to influence and support managers and employees across DFDS in a time of continuous change and growth? Then join us in driving our digital journey.
Our ‘People Division’ play an essential role in DFDS’ exciting growth journey. As part of the journey, this newly established HR Manager position will lead DFDS’ operational HR team and activities across our Danish entities, ensuring high quality, efficiency and care in our operational people processes and the yearly cycle.

Key responsibilities

You will join our People Division, a regional HR organization with peers in 4 other European regions, as well as working alongside corporate functions such as Learning & Development, Remuneration & Benefits, HR Legal and HR Digitalization.
In February 2022, DFDS moved into our new ‘state of the art’ headquarter in Nordhavn, where People Division play a vital role in our people’s engagement, collaboration and implementation of ‘new ways of working’.

You have the leadership capabilities and personality that will ensure engagement and development focus in the HR Admin team.
You build strong relationships with the local business stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and influencer in many people decisions.
You naturally meet employees and managers with integrity, confidentiality, professionalism and care.
Your primary work location can be either DFDS’ headquarter in Copenhagen, or in our office in Esbjerg or Hobro. yet recurrent working days in all locations is a prerequisite to be successful in the role.

Key responsibilities
- Reporting to the Regional HR Director in Denmark, you will be the daily leader of our Danish HR Admin team of HR Advisors and HR Coordinators placed in Copenhagen, Hobro and Esbjerg.
- Drive the Annual People Cycle in collaboration with the HR Director and HR Admin team, being the bridge between global DFDS frameworks and local requirements.
- Be the driver of continuous operational efficiencies with high focus on digitalizing our internal HR processes. Part of this effort is aligning HR processes across our Danish entities, where several entities in Jutland are newly acquired by DFDS and thereby in the beginning of an integration process.

- You have profound HR experience and relevant master’s degree background, with a broad understanding of HR operational processes, the annual HR activities and labour law.
- You bring leadership experience, preferably from leading administrative teams.
- You have experience with and interest in process improvement, reviewing and converting manual HR processes to efficient and digital solutions.
- You continuously focus on the value and impact, HR creates in the business.
- You are fluent in Danish and English.
