We are looking for a new communications partner for our EVP of DFDS’ Logistics Division
Are you passionate about leadership communication and translating business strategy into concrete and meaningful action? Here is a unique opportunity to communicate the growth and transformation of DFDS and our transition towards a greener future within logistics.
Placed in Copenhagen and reporting to the Director of Group Communications, you will be part of a team of 9 people.
The team is responsible for developing and executing media, digital, social media, leadership communications, communications advisory, and internal communications, aiming to protect and strengthen DFDS' reputation and support its business and people strategies.

You will develop and drive comprehensive communications for the Logistics business unit in DFDS, be an advisor to the EVP of Logistics and be part of the Logistics leadership team.

Areas of responsibility include:
- Ensure DFDS Logistic business priorities are communicated effectively across internal and external channels
- Make DFDS known for its logistics sustainability efforts
- Drive and execute communications plans for the business unit
- Drive social media engagement for EVP and leadership team members
- Write for the intranet and DFDS.com
- Facilitate internal communications training across the DFDS group
- Plan, execute and act as host at town hall meetings across Logistics business unit and at group level
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter and executive advisor who brings a strategic mindset to storytelling with a strong track record in producing high-quality, crisp messaging.
You have exemplary organisational skills and an uncompromising eye for planning while simultaneously working on several projects.
- Holds a master's degree or equivalent in journalism, communications or business administration
- Min. +7 years of experience within strategic communications - preferably with a large international or listed company
- Has outstanding verbal and written English communication skills
- Is an experienced communications advisor at executive level
- Has a strategic mindset and are quick to gain in-depth business understanding
- Is ambitious and proactively influences decisions to enable efficient and engaging communication
- Works calmly and maintains good judgment in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Understands how to work effectively with change management, to drive awareness and ownership in corporate organisations
- Has substantial stakeholder management experience and likes working with a broad range of stakeholders
- Loves to work in a team and have fun while doing it
