In Data & Analytics, we want to create more value and innovate processes by delivering data-driven solutions. To help us successfully reach our goals we are looking for a talented and engaged Data Engineer to join our Data Platform Team. A team that works agile and whose main objective is developing the infrastructure which enables the organization to create end-to-end data products and support innovation across many exciting business domains. An international team with many nationalities and locations.
You will be working hands-on, and you will have a high level of influence on our data architecture and the way we design both processes and solutions.

You will be working hands-on, and you will have a high level of influence on our data architecture and the way we design both processes and solutions.
What you will do:
- Work with other data engineers, back-end developers, data scientists, and product owners in cross-functional teams to develop data endpoints that support business initiatives.
- Develop scalable data pipelines for production use cases based mostly on cloud infrastructure.
- Contribute to the further development and technical implementation of our internal Data Platform using a cloud-based setup with event streaming and serverless.
- Define modern data architectures and design patterns inspired by the “Data Mesh”.
- Participate in change management initiatives to support the adoption and continuous development of our platform.
What you bring to the table:
- You have a background in a data-related field or in a software engineering role with an emphasis on data movement.
- Experience with data-intensive applications in the cloud (AWS/GCP) and relational databases (MS SQL Server/ PostgreSQL).
- Have skills in languages such as Python, C#, and/or SQL
- You feel comfortable with modern related technologies: Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow, and/or Jenkins.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks both independently and as part of a team.
- Curiosity about new technologies and domains, and willingness to be a continuous learner and contribute to your own development by finding the best solutions.
- You take pride in communicating with internal stakeholders at all levels.
