You will join our Pipeline department
As our new Junior Pipeline Engineer you will be part of a department with many interesting projects within both the traditional oil & gas industry and developing projects within the green transition with both CO2 and hydrogen carrying pipelines, where technical solutions will be developed now and in the near future.
The Pipeline department is a highly technical oriented team, as the technical design work involves many advanced engineering calculations. Pipeline design is complex with pressure, temperature, external loads, and vibrations being important issues to consider. We perform the design work for the pipelines and cover all phases of the projects, from Feasibility to Detailed design, as well as site supervision, so you will be able to see the result of your work directly applied in construction onshore and offshore. As an example, we have performed design work for both the offshore and onshore pipelines on the Baltic pipe project and are currently assisting with supervision during the construction works.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Design and document for various parts of the pipeline systems with the assistance of a senior colleague, typically an engineering manager
- We seek an engineer that has interest in and can document very good skills in FE modelling. We work in ANSYS, Orcaflex, MathLab and other specialized programs/applications developed in-house or acquired commercially
- Part of the job will be to take the existing models (primarily in ANSYS language) which have years of offshoots and try to make these programs more accessible for others than the originator
