You will join our Port, Marine and Coastal Engineering department As our new Senior Port and Marine Engineer, you will be part of a diverse international department at Rambølls global headquarters in Copenhagen, and work on major marine projects across all stages from planning to detailed design together with our team of highly engaged and specialized engineers. We are currently involved in several major port extension projects, such as Rønne Port Gdansk, and Port of Genoa, doing what we are great at and supporting the green energy transition and increasing the blue infrastructure.
Our department works with a broad spectrum of marine projects, from feasibility studies, Port Master planning, to design and supervision. Our team is well-balanced between senior experts, project managers, specialists, andgraduates. Knowledge sharing and open-minded collaboration across all levels within the department and across the organization are part of our DNA and enable us to deliver innovative yet efficient solutions on a high-quality standard. Your future colleagues have extensive experience in national and international port, marine, and coastal projects.The multidisciplinary aspect of Ramboll and its focus on innovation and sustainability gives you a unique opportunity to work with experts from all fields, developing your skills further. Your key tasks and responsibilities will be: Take responsibility for technical project delivery as discipline lead/ design manager Drive the development and innovation of our structural skill set as a team effort Maintain the highest level of quality in our deliverables Responsible for our technical project deliverables Act as a role model for our younger team members Your starting point for constant growth From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is: A master’s degree in Structural Engineering (or similar) Preferably more than 10 years of proven experience in the design of marine structures, or other concrete civil structures Extensive experience with complex multidisciplinary marine projects, such as ports, tunnels, or flood defenses You thrive in a dynamic work environment with many stakeholders Great communication skills - English at a professional level, and any other language skills are a plus Your skillset is respected in the market and you have built up a valuable network, enabling you to understand client needs and market trends. Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include an open mindset and the ability to both work independently and as a team player.
