How you will make a difference at FSC
The main purpose of this position is to give the Planning Student an opportunity to gain practical experience in the field of construction planning while contributing to the efficient and timely completion of a complex project.
As our Planning student, we envisage that you will:
Play a vital role in supporting the planning and scheduling activities within the production. This role collaborates with FSC’s planners, engineers, and project managers to ensure the successful execution of the Fehmarn Belt link, and from time to time with more tactically oriented tasks.
Your specific tasks include, among other things:
· Collect and analyze data relating to project progress, resource allocation and construction activities
· Contribute to the preparation of regular progress reports to project stakeholders with status reports on scope, schedule and budget
· Support the team in producing reports and visualizations to communicate project status to the project management
· Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and communication logs
· Participate in post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement in the planning and scheduling process.
About FSC and the Fehmarn belt project
By joining FEMERN SICE COBRA (FSC) you will become a key player in the construction of the world's longest immersed tunnel, the Fehmarn Belt Link, which will connect Denmark and Germany by 2029. FSC, a consortium formed by the Spanish companies SICE & COBRA, is entrusted with the critical task of equipping the tunnel with advanced Electrical and Mechanical (MEP) equipment and technology.
As an FSC employee, you'll be part of a diverse and skilled team committed to the success of this monumental infrastructure project. For the time being we are 3 people here at FSC’s Danish office. We have 4 other open positions; the rest of the team are located at our office in Spain. You will therefore be part of an international environment.
