Stock Control and Loss Prevention Assistant - Nordics

Working independently and support the Finance Team and the stores, this role will report to the Finance Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing the stock taking process and monitoring stock related reports on a daily basis. You will also provide support for the stores and carry out various stock related tasks. You will support the controllers to ensure all daily reporting and reconciliation is completed correctly and be able to address issues as they arise, offering insight into the impact of stock adjustments at store level whilst maintaining the optimum level of stock accuracy. This will require a close working relationship with all departments within the retail side of the business. In addition this role will align with external partners and ensure that stock levels are correct at all times.

As part of stock control you will gain an excellent understanding of the administrative side of the retail business and of key practices which are consistent throughout the retail sector. You will also develop a good knowledge of the impact of stock movements and adjustments from a financial viewpoint and be able to communicate the importance of correct stock management within a successful business.

What you can expect: • Stock – Stock takes RT/OUT / Concession stores
• Planning /support /aligning with local auditors
• Stock - Stock Controlling RT/OUT / Concession stores
• Reconciliation of concession inventory
• Contact with Concessions - Sales reporting discrepancies
• Contact with Stores - Sales reporting discrepancies
• Management of the Sample warehouse
• Support of monitoring of delivery reports to ensure stores receipt stock correctly.
• Back office support for Stock takes
o Investigation into stock loss within stock takes
o Preparing final result sheets
o Store visits
• Stock Loss prevention Training for Stores
• Understand the potential risks and help stores improve shrinkage
• Various ad hoc tasks as they arise to help the business achieve optimum stock availability and placement.
• Weekly and monthly reports for various stock movements
o Check and follow -up of negative stock movements
o Ensuring correct stock movements
o Ensuring accurate audit trail
• Any ad -hoc questions from the Store managers
• Any other support for retail area

Your profile: • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal, with all levels within the company.
• Strong excel skills.
• Experience of SAP an advantage.
• Enthusiastic, self-confident and self-motivated. Shows ambition to drive through initiatives and change to achieve company targets.
• Pays close attention to detail, accuracy and is very analytical.
• Willing to adapt and take on new challenges and driven to continually improve
• Professionalism is maintained at all times
• Organised
• Able to handle multiple demands and competing priorities successfully
• Work effectively and efficiently with the ability to establish credibility
• Understand and represent the brand values.
