Are you interested in working in an international organisation with colleagues from around the world? Are you looking for an opportunity to support the development of relevant programmes and strategies and lead a small team within the field of Humanitarian Response? If your answers are yes, you might be our new colleague.

DanChurchAid is one of Denmark’s largest humanitarian non-governmental organisations. We assist the world’s poorest and most vulnerable to lead a life in dignity, and our work is based on three overall goals: Build Resilient Communities, Fight Extreme Inequality and Save Lives.

The Humanitarian Response and Mine Action Unit in DCA operates in many insecure countries, and in some of these contexts, it is vital that we act fast and deliver accountable, effective and well-coordinated humanitarian response to disaster-affected populations. In addition, we need to support local capacities and advocate at an international level for increased support to and inclusion of local actors. As our Humanitarian Coordinator, you will take lead on a variety of tasks that contribute to the above and to DCA’s overall goals. As a coordinator you will also take part in strengthening the emergency response and preparedness capacities while working closely with our colleagues in Copenhagen and around the world.
