Middle Office, under Operations are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated collaborator, with a good knowledge of the products offered by Saxo Bank A/S. Focus will be on delivering scalable and
efficient global operations for the benefit of the best client experience.
As our new Middle Office addition, you will be working closely with a team of professionals located in Copenhagen, Singapore and Milan. You will refer to the Head of Middle Office and the Team Lead. Our Middle Office acts as the intermediary between Saxo Bank's front and back-office teams and is responsible for providing support to the trading and sales functions. Middle Office provides segregation of duties for Saxo Bank operational functions, acting as a second line of defense for solving complex queries, and optimizing procedures in general.
You will be part of a dynamic and ambitious environment, where you are given responsibility and expected to perform well under pressure. Your experience and knowledge will be a key driver for the growth of the team and the assurance to keep providing the best quality of service towards stakeholders.
Task & Responsibilities:
You will mainly be assigned to projects in relation to the enhancement of processes of current Saxo products and help with the onboarding of new products and services as part of upcoming larger migrations. This role will offer the possibility to work on optimizing current processes as well as onboarding new ones. Your focus will be on trading products and investments though data-driven decision, customer centric and real-time solutions.
Among others you will be responsible for:
- Support for Business to implement and coordinate new initiatives
- Effective/ Regular communication with stakeholders to streamline processes and share these with the team so they become best practice
- Point of escalation for Markets, Sales and Client Services, providing SME knowledge to ensure issues are resolved swiftly and efficiently
- Assessing the risk of tasks and knowledge in prioritizing and escalating accordingly
- Taking responsibility for owned tasks and ad-hoc admin duties assigned by the Team Lead and Head of Middle Office
General responsibilities:
- Always Promoting the interests of Saxo Bank AS
- Consistently aim to achieving results
- Complying with Saxo Bank's prevailing Security Policy and Business Procedures
- Focus on outsourcing of tasks to our Operational teams in India
- Open to learning new products and processes as they become part of the Middle Office team
- Being flexible to change as the team matures reacting in the best interests of the team and Saxo Bank A/S
Your Profile:
As a person you come across as very organized and able to multi-task. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must as you will engage with our global organization on a daily basis.
Further to this we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Inquisitive and analytical mindset
- Good knowledge of 1 or more of the products - FX, Equity, Bonds, CFDs, Cash and Derivatives
- Good Excel or SQL practical skills
- Independent, accurate with great moral compass
- Well-structured with an eye for details without losing sight of the overall picture
- Dedicated, hard-working and service minded
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment and interact with multiple functions/cultures
- Fluent in English (written and oral)
