Do you have solid experience with design of HVAC system, installation, and commissioning? Are you excited about working in projects and seeing your work materialise from requirement setting to actual install and commissioning - and are you able to ensure that advisors and suppliers meet our requirements? Then we might have the right position for you as our new HVAC Responsible in Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S. The position
You will become part of a newly established project organisation that must ensure capacity to meet the increased demand from Novo Nordisk A/S by establishing a new greenfield GMP production facility in Koege, Zealand - 45 kilometres from Copenhagen.
The new facility is built to modern standards. Sustainability and safety are key aspects during construction and operation as well as ensuring future expansion capabilities. Your areas of responsibility will be to:
• Set requirements for the HVAC system, working directly with the Engineering Partner
• Review 3D model, technical specifications, and drawings
• Advise on constructability and installation sequence of HVAC systems
• Advise on choice of materials and HVAC layout
• Oversee vendor performance
• Conduct FAT of HVAC equipment
• Oversee installation and commissioning In this role you will use your technical knowledge and experience to ensure that the HVAC system will meet requirements. You will be given a broad mandate and decision-making authority in your area of responsibility. You will be working closely together with other team members in the Building Work Package, as well as cross-disciplinary with other teams. Besides developing process and facility design, you will actively participate in building and supporting a competent user-organisation, integrating with engineering partners, and collaborating with contractors while supervising their activities. Qualifications
You have: - A background as bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Advanced degree is a plus
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Proven experience of working as an HVAC Engineer, preferably in the life sciences industry.
- Experience working in ATEX environments is a plus. The department
For the next 3-4 years, you will be part of the project organisation, seeing the project all the way through to operation. You will also be affiliated with the Technical Support department, where you will be able to draw on the experiences of employees and people managers within your field. After the project you will either assist other projects, support operations with HVAC and other related technical systems, or advance your career further within Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S.
